Core Drilling

During Cement Sawing operations, Core Cuts are frequently needed. Core Drilling uses diamond embedded, drum type coring bits. Core drills are stand mounted or fitted to a guide track for level, plumb, precise angles with smooth, clean, round results.

Typical Materials Drilled:

  • Precast Cement
  • Reinforced Concrete
  • Asphalt
  • Stone
  • Masonry
  • Metal
  • Rock or Structural Materials

Typical Coring Applications:

  • Flooring, Wall Access Points, Ceiling
  • Cable, Utility or Mechanical Crossover Service Points
  • Penetrating Walls - Square, Round Holes for Pipe, Conduit, Ducts
  • Coring Brick Wall or Block Wall Materials
  • Floor Cores in Solid Poured, Flexicore or Spancrete precast flooring
  • Cores Drilled in Metal Decking, Archtile or Post Tension floors
  • Light or Fixture Anchor Pockets
  • Demolition, removal of mass cement through "stitch" or line drilling

Core Drilling Cut Sizes: 1/2” — 72” diameter, up to, or exceeding 90 inches in depth.

Drilled Coring Advantages:

  • Clean, round fixture hole sizing, extreme accuracy
  • Safe removal of core sections eliminates dropped spoil
  • Terrific results in cramped or confined locations
